The essential oils within the Calm formula include chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, mint, black pepper, California poppy and skullcap.

Chamomile is well known for its promotion of sleep and anxiety relief benefits as well as anti-inflammation and pain relief.

In essential oil practices, lavender is a multipurpose oil. It is purported to have anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antidepressant, antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, as well as antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifying, hypotensive, and sedative effects.

Lemon balm essential oil has been found to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, boost cognitive function and ease symptoms of insomnia and nausea.

Another essential oil with pain relief benefits, mint, is also part of this exclusive blend of carriers oils for our Calm tincture.

California poppy is used for depression, long-term mental and physical tiredness, nerve pain and sedation.

Skullcap is used to treat insomnia and anxiety. This essential oil completes our in house blend of carrier oils for a Calm tincture.
