CBD lotions are a topical product similar to everyday hand moisturizers with the addition of cannabidiol. They can be applied to affected areas to relieve dry or itchy skin. If suffering from dermatitis and psoriasis, CBD lotion can be applied to relieve those with skin conditions. Since lotions are applied directly to the skin, they do not directly enter the bloodstream as a tincture product would. However, CBD is absorbed through the skin and reacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Cannabidiol has shown to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits.
CBD lotions are applied directly to the skin by rubbing gently into the affected area.
