1200mg Full Spectrum Salve
CBD salves are topicals applied to affected areas to relieve soreness, chronic paid or skin conditions. Dermatitis and psoriasis can applied to relieve those with skin conditions. Since salves are topically applied to the skin, they do not directly enter the bloodstream as a tincture product would. However, CBD is absorbed through the skin and reacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Sore muscles begin to relax, joint pain or arthritis is alleviated and skin irritations are soothed. Thus, we call our specially formulated CBD salve, Soothe.
CBD salves are applied directly to the skin by rubbing gently into the affected area. Soothe, our cGMP produce salve, is bottled into a roll-on container similar to many deodorants or other topical products. Salves provide a more local treatment approach to relief as the product is applied directly to the troubled area.
CBD salves are used to treat achy muscles, arthritis and joint pain, as well as skin irritation.
CBD salves can be produced with either isolate, full spectrum distillate or broad spectrum distillate. Contact us to discuss the production of your own white-label salve product or visit our online store to purchase our in-house formula, Soothe, made with shea butter, beeswax, full-spectrum distillate, coconut oil, chamomile, lemongrass, rosemary, amica, black pepper, camphor, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lavender and menthol.
CBD salves should be applied 1-3 times daily as needed.
CBD topical such as a salve penetrate the dermal and subdermal skin layers, reaching beyond the out layers of skin to bind to cell receptors in muscle tissue, skin and nerves.
The majority of salves contain between 1000-1500 mg of CBD. Our retail product, Soothe, contains 1200 mg of full spectrum distillate CBD.
Creams include water in the base mixture while salves do not contain water, only oils. Products such as salves that do not contain water are often called anhydrous.
A CBD salve will be soothing and calming, but will not induce sleepiness.
CBD topicals should be applied liberally to troubled areas to overcome low absorption of cannabinoids through the skin. Although more clinical research is needed in this area, CBD topicals generally peak around 90 minutes.
Topical ointments do not get into the bloodstream but are well-suited for localized treatment by applying directly to the skin at the troublesome area.
